The Nicene Creed

Fr. Joseph Wood, a holy priest and scholar, pointed out in today’s sermon how The Nicene Creed specifically says that the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son. This clause was not present in the original version of this creed, but it was added later to combat the Eastern Orthodox heresy that declared the Holy Spirit proceeded only from the Father and not from the Son.
