Hummus, Part 3

This is a three-part post. Read Part 1. Read Part 2.

I’ve said a lot about making hummus, but I’m not a chef, so I’m not that into the concept of presentation with the dishes I prepare. Nevertheless, whether you’re serving this to someone else or just want to enjoy your hummus in an elegant way, these simple tips can make the experience more special, more of an occasion.

Simplified presentation tips
  1. Plate up a serving on a nice China plate by putting a large spoonful on the plate and swirling it in a circular motion with the back of a spoon, creating a spiral pattern.
  2. Drizzle Extra Virgin Olive Oil (the good stuff) over the spirals.
  3. Sprinkle with paprika, mainly for color.
  4. Top with cooked ground beef or lamb, slivered almonds, and a few whole cooked garbanzo beans, or any combination thereof.
  5. Serve with fresh, hot pita bread and raw vegetables on a separate plate.

And there you have it! Super elegant and, of course, super delicious!
