Winter Easing

Today it got above freezing for the first time in over a week! Yay for the sun! We still have a lot of snow on the ground, but it’s melting fast, and the forecast for the next few days looks good. Goodbye and good riddance OMW and JF!

All I can say is Thank God! It has been seriously cold here. Even grizzled veterans of the Kansas plains say this is unusual; it’s not just the perceptions of a Louisiana boy. But it has been cold for many of us in the country, so I’m not complaining. We made it through the worst without too many difficulties.
